Celay starts the year with the new ERP

After analysing the different options offered by the market, we have chosen Microsoft's AX solution, based on its experiences in the automotive sector, great possibilities of configuration and customization and agility in the execution.

Although the management will be common and integrated at the corporate level, the Elay Group has opted to carry out the first implantation in its Celaya plant, since it is the factory with greater physical dimensions and with greater number of workers of the group. Throughout 2017 its implementation will be extended to Europe and in 2018 integration will be completed at the plant in China.

The new ERP manages the automatic order entry, purchase planning, subcontracting and production, logistics and warehousing, payments and collections, as well as integration with the MES system of online management of production data.

The general objectives are the reduction of lead time and the improvement of service rates to our customers, while reducing costs by optimizing the levels of raw material stock, WIP and finished product.
