Zeng, winner of the Best Proposal of the year 2015

Within the annual competition of the Elay Group, of proposals for improvement at Group level and in which the workers of the three plants participate, in the selection of the best proposal of the year 2015 the winner has been Zeng Xuefeng, Head of the Maintenance Section of EAC.

 

This proposal has been chosen from a total of 8 improvement proposals declared as finalists at the Elay Group, being the three Directors of the three productive plants of the Group who choose the one that will be the best proposal of the year.

His proposal consists in an improvement in the feeding and extraction of parts of the plastic injection machines. With this idea, we achieve a 30% improvement in productivity and a greater space around the machine, with the consequent saving in times of mould change. In addition to all these aspects, this improvement affects the ergonomics of the workplace, very important in this production process.

Due to the impact of this improvement, the rest of Elay plants have already started to give the first steps to incorporate it in their production processes and, in particular, Elay China keeps on working so as to win, again, next year’s competition.
